Isaku Senagaki grows up under the protection of her grandfather, a powerful crime boss, after losing her parents. Because everyone around her knows the family name, she enters high school hoping to hide that background and live like an ordinary student. The plan collapses when Keiya Uto, the young man assigned to guard her since childhood, lies about his age and enrolls in the same school. Isaku wants distance because she has feelings for him and knows that staying close will only make them harder to bury. Keiya treats the school like another security post. He watches her classmates, interrupts risky situations, and blocks anyone he thinks might hurt her. His presence helps when old ties from her family’s world reach the campus, but it also keeps Isaku from proving she can stand on her own. School events, class trips, and small friendships become tests of how much freedom she can claim while still being watched. Keiya’s loyalty shifts between duty and personal attachment, and Isaku has to decide whether the protection she depends on is also the cage she wants to leave.
