Gridman Universe

Gridman Universe is a feature film that serves as a sequel to SSSS.Gridman and brings together the worlds of SSSS.Gridman and SSSS.Dynazenon.

A year has passed since the events of SSSS.Gridman. The world is at peace, and no one except Rikka Takarada and Sho Utsumi remembers the kaiju, Gridman or Akane Shinjou. That includes Yuuta Hibiki: even though he served as Gridman's host, he has no memory of the most important moments of his own life. He spends his days as an ordinary student, working on a project for the school festival.

So when a new kaiju appears, Yuuta leaps at the chance to prove to himself that he too can be a hero by merging with Gridman once more. As the boundaries between worlds begin to break down, familiar faces from both series cross paths. The film combines large-scale tokusatsu-style battles with the emotional story of Yuuta, Rikka and their friends as they come to terms with what they lived through.
