Megaton Musashi Season 2

After the catastrophe, Earth no longer resembles the home world it once was: an invasion by the alien Dractor race has wiped out almost all of humanity, and the planet itself has been disfigured and reshaped for alien life. The surviving humans hide in fortified shelters where the memory of Doomsday has been erased, and the familiar streets, schools and peaceful conversations rest on a fragile lie. In the second season, this illusion finally shatters. The flying shelter Ixia, humanity's surviving ark, sets out for a legendary place called the Sanctuary, hoping to find a chance for a counterattack. On board, the teenage pilots Yamato Ichidaiji, Ryugo Hijikata, Teru Asami, Reiji Amamiya and Jun Kirishima once again climb into the cockpits of giant combat machines, the Rogues, including the fearsome Musashi. For them, the war is no longer just a battle against an outside enemy: every sortie now reminds them that behind the armor, the orders and the thunder of metal lie fear, guilt and the memory of those who can never be brought back.
