The Slime Diaries

The ogres are busy building fortifications, the goblins are expanding the farmland, and the craftsmen are trying to set up production of tools, clothing and household goods. While preparing for the seasonal festivals, the residents discuss how to decorate the streets, how to organize the fairs, and how to divide responsibilities among the various groups. At the same time, Rimuru has to deal with unexpected everyday complications that crop up even during ordinary cooking or the making of kitchen utensils.

An attempt to make a new knife turns into a lengthy discussion of materials, the strength of the metal and the magical properties of weapons, since the blacksmiths are determined to make the item far more effective than ordinary ones. Special attention is paid to the everyday life of Rimuru himself, who continues to explore the peculiarities of his own body and runs into comical situations while choosing clothes or chatting with those around him. Some of the residents begin to see him not only as their ruler but also as a close friend who can join in ordinary conversations without any formality.
