That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime Season 2: Digression - Hinata Sakaguchi

This special episode sums up the first season of That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime and serves as a lead-in to the second season. Its story focuses entirely on Hinata Sakaguchi. She has short black hair and violet eyes, and her cold, calculating gaze always seeks a logical explanation for everything; Rimuru himself described her as stunningly beautiful. She usually wears the armor of the Holy Knights under a white cloak, and at her hip hangs a powerful legendary rapier given to her by the god Luminus himself.

Hinata is cold and pragmatic, willing to enter any mutually beneficial arrangement, even one that goes against the teachings of the Western Holy Church. She will help anyone who asks, but if her offer of help is ignored the first time, she never returns to the matter. She is also extremely stubborn and refuses to compromise unless ordered to by Luminus. As captain of the Crusaders of the Western Holy Church, Hinata receives a letter from an Eastern merchant with information about a nation of monsters, the Jura Tempest Federation, and other shocking details. What awaits her, and how does Hinata, a former student of Shizue, feel about Rimuru?
