Dennis gets kicked out of the Silver Wing party after years of cooking, healing, and fixing gear. He moves to a small town, buys a run down shop, and frees a girl named Atelier from a slave deal. They open a place that feeds adventurers and turns strangers into regulars. A swordswoman named Henrietta eats between job hunts. A rookie mage named Vivia studies in the corner and brings in friends who need help. Word spreads that the cook who was exiled can brew medicine and mend armor as easily as he fries rice. The old party captain Vigo hates the attention and leans on allies to shut the shop down. An arson attack almost ends it, but neighbors show up with buckets, tools, and money, and Dennis decides to stay. He names the place the Outcast’s Restaurant and makes it a home. When the plotters push again he stands in the doorway, shows the power he kept hidden, and buries the threat. The doors open the next day. The menu is simple, the tables are full, and the people who were turned away from other counters finally have a seat.
