Yaiba: Samurai Legend

Yaiba Kurogane trains with his father Kenjurou in the jungle. After a gorilla attack they hide in a pineapple crate and arrive in the city. He meets Sayaka Mine and clashes with kendo ace Takeshi Onimaru. Onimaru finds a demon sword and turns into a leader who summons oni and bends students to his will. Yaiba loses and retreats to the mountains to seek strength. Guided by an old master he meets Miyamoto Musashi and draws the Raijin Sword as a counter to Onimaru’s blade. With Sayaka, Kagetora the tiger, and new allies he fights ambushes across rooftops and shrines, learns timing, and recovers tools needed for the next match. Eight ogres and rival swordsmen test him while Onimaru gathers power around a Devil King Sword and aims at the capital. Yaiba links heart and blade, calls wind and thunder, and cuts through the storm above the tower. The army breaks, the ritual fails, and Onimaru falls. Friends pull Yaiba back from collapse and the road continues with training and rematches in the city.
