Cowboy Bebop

A small crew lives on the spaceship Bebop, chasing bounties because money runs out fast and the next job always looks like it might fix that. Spike Spiegel acts like nothing gets to him, but his calm hides a past that refuses to stay buried. Jet Black tries to keep the ship and the team from falling apart, even when the people around him are impulsive, dishonest, or simply lost. Faye Valentine drifts in with no stable ground under her feet, and the crew later expands into something that looks like a family only when you stop expecting it to be healthy. Each bounty is a new mess, and every time they think they can outrun yesterday, yesterday finds them.
