Hunter x Hunter

Gon Freecss learns his father Ging is alive and decides to become a licensed Hunter to find him. He enters the Hunter Exam and meets Killua Zoldyck, Kurapika, and Leorio Paradinight. After the exam they part and reunite as Gon and Killua train in Heavens Arena, study Nen under Wing, and clash with Hisoka. Kurapika becomes a bodyguard in Yorknew City to pursue the Phantom Troupe and restrains their leader Chrollo with a Nen condition. Following clues from Ging, Gon and Killua enter the game Greed Island with Biscuit Krueger to strengthen their abilities. The Chimera Ant threat then pushes the Hunters into a palace assault led by Chairman Isaac Netero against the King Meruem, while Gon makes a ruinous bargain to defeat Neferpitou and save Kite. Afterwards the Association holds a chairman election, Killua protects Alluka, and Gon climbs the World Tree to finally meet Ging and decide his path forward.
