Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba

Tanjiro Kamado returns from selling charcoal and finds his family murdered, with Nezuko transformed into a demon. Giyu Tomioka spares them and sends Tanjiro to train under Sakonji Urokodaki. Months of work on Mount Sagiri lead to Final Selection on Mount Fujikasane, and Tanjiro joins the Corps with a black Nichirin sword while Nezuko travels in a box at his side. In Asakusa he catches the scent from his home and meets Muzan, then receives help from Tamayo and Yushiro. A mission at the Tsuzumi Mansion pairs him with Zenitsu, and a boar masked fighter named Inosuke crashes the hunt as Kyogai beats his drums. The trio are sent to Natagumo Mountain, where a spider family traps slayers and Rui reveals himself as a Lower Rank. Nezuko awakens a blood flame, Giyu and Shinobu arrive, and the survivors recover at the Butterfly Mansion. At the Hashira meeting Nezuko resists blood and the leader sanctions the siblings. Training resumes, Kanao steps into focus, and the three board a night train with Kyojuro for their next mission.
