One Piece

Monkey D. Luffy grows up obsessed with the idea of freedom on the sea, and he takes that dream seriously enough to bet his whole life on it. After gaining the ability to stretch like rubber at the cost of never being able to swim, he sets out to find the legendary treasure known as the One Piece and become King of the Pirates. Luffy gathers a crew that is as stubborn and mismatched as he is, and their journey turns into a chain of promises, fights, and unexpected loyalties across dangerous waters. The world keeps trying to tell Luffy what is impossible, and he keeps answering by moving forward anyway.
