Strike the Blood: Kingdom of the Valkyria

Kojou Akatsuki is pulled into Aldegyr’s affairs when Princess La Folia Rihavein arrives on Itogami Island for peace negotiations between the Kingdom of Aldegyr and the Lost Warlord’s Dominion. What should be a formal diplomatic visit becomes personal at once because La Folia has already tied herself to Kojou through earlier battles, and her family does not treat him as a distant outsider. Yukina Himeragi remains beside him as observer and protector, while Kanon Kanase is drawn into the royal side of the matter through her own connection to Aldegyr. The celebration around the talks hides tension from people who oppose the agreement. A sudden attack on the royal party proves that the threat is already inside the event, not waiting beyond the island.

The enemy uses insects, surveillance, and magic to break through the guard around La Folia’s family. Kojou and Yukina stop the first assault, but Trine Halden places Kojou under control and turns him into the tool used to kidnap Yukina and La Folia. That violation changes the problem from an attack on guests into a direct attempt to manipulate the Fourth Primogenitor. La Folia’s position as princess makes her valuable, and Yukina’s bond with Kojou makes her useful leverage. Kojou has to recover himself before his power is used against the people he wants to protect. The fight forces Aldegyr’s royal family, Itogami’s defenders, and Kojou’s circle into the same crisis, where diplomacy no longer matters until the captives are safe and the spell controlling him is broken.
