Ghost in the Shell: The New Movie

After the end of a brutal world war, science in Japan made an incredible leap forward, developing at astonishing speed. This allowed humanity to use advanced cybernetics to ease suffering and prolong life. All people are connected through a network of minds and personalities known as Ghosts. However, the greatest threat to civilization comes from cyber-terrorists capable of stealing human bodies and memories. A virus called Fire-Starter infects the system and begins to spread, leading to the assassination of Japan's prime minister by a mysterious cyborg.

Motoko Kusanagi and her elite team of special operatives are assigned to track down the source of the infection. As they dig deeper into the investigation, they uncover traces of government corruption and a suspicious broker who may be involved. When the target could be anywhere and look like anyone, the only thing left to do is trust your Ghost and hope that you are not infected.
