Slam Dunk (Movie)

Hanamichi Sakuragi is preparing for the second basketball game of his career. This time his team from Shohoku High School is visiting Takezono High School to find out which of them is stronger on the court. Before the game begins, Sakuragi happens to run into an old acquaintance he went to school with. Tatsumasa Oda was always diligent and trained tirelessly, while the red-haired rebel Sakuragi spent his time getting into fights and idling about. This encounter makes Sakuragi reflect on his past and motivates him to strive for victory with even greater determination.

The atmosphere in the gym heats up: there are far more Takezono fans than supporters of Sakuragi's team. But this only spurs his desire to prove to everyone that he is capable of great things. Can a talent like Hanamichi Sakuragi rise to this challenge and lead his team to victory? This match promises to be not only a test of his athletic skills but also a test of his character and his will to win.
