Slam Dunk: Shohoku Maximum Crisis! Burn Sakuragi Hanamichi

Shohoku High School's team recently faced one of its main rivals at the national tournament, the Kainan High School basketball team. The game was tense down to the final seconds, and its outcome was decided by a mistake from Hanamichi Sakuragi, who accidentally passed the ball to an opposing player. After this defeat, Hanamichi, now aware of how seriously basketball must be taken, decided to start over and, as a sign of this, shaved his bright red hair almost completely off. That same day he got a chance to regain his confidence and prove to himself and others that he is capable of more. A practice game awaited them against Ryokufu High School, whose team had recently been strengthened by an experienced American player named Michael.

Will this game be a walk in the park for Shohoku, or will it turn into yet another serious test where every second counts? Will Hanamichi be able to overcome his mistakes and show what he is capable of, or will the new opponent prove too strong? The answers to these questions are revealed in a tense struggle on the basketball court.
