Slam Dunk: National Domination! Sakuragi Hanamichi

The national tournament is in full swing, and the Shohoku High School team is battling Tsukubu High for a place among the top eight. On the eve of the match, Sakuragi, the team's rookie, happens to run into his future rival, also a first-year student. A serious dispute breaks out between them, with Haruko at stake. Sakuragi realizes that he has to give it his all, not only to win but also to win the girl's heart.

During the game, Sakuragi shows off his incredible abilities: his sky-high jumps and his unique han-han defensive technique leave the spectators holding their breath. He is close to setting a new record of 23 rebounds in a single game, but he also risks committing his fifth foul and being ejected from the court for the fourth game in a row. The question is whether Sakuragi will become a legend or bring disgrace upon his team.
