Fate/stay night [Unlimited Blade Works] - Prologue

In Fuyuki City, a long-standing ritual known as the Holy Grail War is about to begin once again. Seven magi, called Masters, summon seven Servants, heroic spirits from legend, and fight to the death for the Holy Grail, which is said to grant its victor any wish. With the war now entering its fifth iteration, the stage is set for Rin Tohsaka, a gifted young magus and heir to the Tohsaka family, to take up her late father's legacy and claim victory.

This extended prologue episode of Fate/stay night: Unlimited Blade Works tells the beginning of the story from Rin's perspective. She intends to summon Saber, said to be the most powerful class of Servant, but a miscalculation leaves her with the sardonic Archer instead, a hero who claims to have lost his memories. As Rin scouts the city and prepares for the battles ahead, she discovers that the war has already reached her own school, where a fateful clash between Servants draws in her classmate Shirou Emiya. How will she fare in the battles that lie ahead of her?
