Zan Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei

Zan Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei is the third season of the anime adaptation of Kouji Kumeta's satirical manga. Nozomu Itoshiki is still the bizarre, hopelessly pessimistic teacher of the even stranger Class 2-F. Convinced that the world is full of despair, he despairs over everything from social customs to the smallest trends of modern life, and tries to teach his students about the negative side of society.

Yet every time he attempts a lesson, the very circumstances he rails against end up thrown right back in his face. His eccentric class does not make things any easier: the relentlessly positive Kafuka Fuura reinterprets every misfortune in the brightest possible light, the perfectionist Chiri Kitsu demands that everything be done properly no matter the cost, and the rest of the students bring obsessions of their own.

With more students and acquaintances around him than ever before, Zetsubou-sensei's life becomes harder and crazier than ever. As in the previous seasons, the series mixes absurd sketches, social satire, wordplay and a flood of visual gags and references.
