Naruto Spin-Off: Rock Lee & His Ninja Pals

Naruto Spin-Off: Rock Lee & His Ninja Pals is a comedy spin-off of Naruto based on Kenji Taira's manga, which retells life in the Hidden Leaf Village with Rock Lee in the spotlight. The competitive shinobi world has proven challenging for Lee, who cannot use ninjutsu or genjutsu, the abilities normally expected of a ninja. To make up for this handicap, the young ninja tenaciously endures grueling training to hone his hand-to-hand combat skills, and whenever necessary he resorts to creative fighting techniques.

Guided by his passionate mentor Might Guy and constantly supported by his teammates Neji Hyuuga and Tenten, Lee readily embraces every daring adventure as an opportunity to advance on his path toward excellence. Familiar faces from the main series, including Naruto, Sakura and the rest of the Leaf's young ninja, appear throughout, often in exaggerated, self-parodying roles. Swapping the serious battles of the original for slapstick, parody and gag humor, the series celebrates Lee's boundless youthful energy and his unshakable belief that hard work can overcome a lack of natural talent.
