Shakugan no Shana S: OVA Series

Shakugan no Shana S is an OVA series of side stories set in the world of Shakugan no Shana, where the Flame Haze Shana hunts the Crimson Denizens, beings who devour the existence of humans and leave behind Torches, temporary substitutes that slowly fade away.

In the first story, Yuji Sakai accidentally triggers a Treasure Tool he has found while it is pointed at Shana, leading to an unexpected and comical mix-up between the two. Next, Yuji teams up with Wilhelmina Carmel to stalk their fiery friend, whose secretive behavior has become unsettling.

Finally, in a two-part special, Shana tracks a Denizen's trail by sorting through the memories of a Torch for clues. Her detective work reveals the heartwarming last days of a teenage girl and leads her to a predator with a serious identity crisis. The episodes balance comedy, romance and action, offering a fresh look at familiar characters outside the events of the main series.
