Himouto! Umaru-chanS

Himouto! Umaru-chanS is a series of short bonus episodes included in the Blu-ray and DVD releases of Himouto! Umaru-chan. Unlike the main show, these shorts take place in a timeline where there are multiple Umaru-chans.

The series is about Umaru Doma, a high school girl who appears to be the perfect student in public: beautiful, smart, athletic and admired by everyone. But as soon as she gets home to the apartment she shares with her hardworking older brother Taihei, she transforms into a lazy, chibi-sized "himouto" in a hamster hoodie, who spends her days lounging around, gaming, eating junk food and reading manga while Taihei does the chores.

In the S shorts, this chibi Umaru is no longer one of a kind, and several Umarus get into all sorts of mischief together, multiplying the chaos and the comedy. The episodes are brief, gag-focused extras that build on the main series' humor and its cast, including Ebina, Kirie and Sylphynford, and are intended for viewers who already know the show.
