Minami-ke Okawari

A new year has begun, and the Minami sisters carry on with their ordinary school lives, still living together without any adult supervision. Their days are full of small domestic events, unexpected misunderstandings and constant squabbles around the apartment. The eldest, Haruka, tries to keep things in order, juggling housework with her studies and looking after her younger sisters. The middle sister, Kana, regularly causes trouble with her impulsive antics, turning any quiet activity into a source of chaos and absurd situations. The youngest, Chiaki, stays serious even through the most ridiculous incidents, constantly commenting on her sister's behavior with biting remarks.

The family's days pass between lessons, cooking dinners, talking about TV shows and chatting with friends, yet nearly every event ends in another comic mishap. Kana might mix up someone else's letters, turn an ordinary contest into a full-scale conflict or stage a pointless test of the feelings of boys she knows. Haruka has to deal with the consequences while keeping her authority among her sisters' friends. At school the girls run into love letters, silly rumors and odd competitions between classmates, and as the seasons pass, they keep making new friends.
