Minami-ke Tadaima

The Minami sisters live by their usual routine, and every morning begins with a little chaos. Chiaki, the youngest of the three, is always sure she is right and never holds back her sharp remarks. For her, the word idiot has become almost a term of endearment, while toward her eldest sister Haruka she shows boundless respect, as if Haruka alone deserves to be called a true adult. Meanwhile Kana, the middle sister, is lost in tangled musings about what Fujioka really feels for her. She remains convinced that his attentiveness and awkward attempts to talk to her are just some strange form of hostility.

Every encounter leaves her even more confused. Haruka, serious and responsible, fails to notice how much Hosaka adores her as he desperately tries to win her attention and even invites her to join the volleyball team, but his clumsy efforts go unnoticed. In the evening, after all the classes and misunderstandings of the day, the sisters gather for dinner. The house fills with warm light, the aroma of home cooking drifts from the kitchen, and in that moment each of them can feel the true joy of being a family, where even arguments and misunderstandings are just part of their shared, cozy life.
