Dr. Stone: Stone Wars Eve of the Battle Special Feature

Dr. Stone: Stone Wars Eve of the Battle Special Feature is a recap episode with additional scenes, screened on Jump's official YouTube channel as part of Jump Special Anime Festa 2020, ahead of the premiere of the second season, Dr. Stone: Stone Wars.

Dr. Stone is set thousands of years after a mysterious flash of light turned all of humanity to stone. Senku Ishigami, a teenage genius with boundless faith in science, awakens in a world reclaimed by nature, together with his loyal, big-hearted friend Taiju Oki. Determined to rebuild civilization from scratch, Senku begins recreating human technology step by step, from basic chemistry to ever more ambitious inventions, with the help of the villagers of Ishigami Village.

His plans, however, put him at odds with Tsukasa Shishio, the strongest high schooler, who wants to build a new world free of the corruption of the old one and has no intention of letting science return. This special looks back at the events of the first season and sets the stage for the coming war between Senku's Kingdom of Science and Tsukasa's Empire of Might.
