Sekirei: Pure Engagement Episode 0

Sekirei: Pure Engagement Episode 0 is a bonus episode included on the first DVD and Blu-ray volume of Sekirei: Pure Engagement, the second season of the anime based on Sakurako Gokurakuin's manga. The series follows Minato Sahashi, a young man who failed his university entrance exams twice and becomes an Ashikabi, a partner to the Sekirei, superpowered beings who take part in the Sekirei Plan, a deadly contest orchestrated by the MBI corporation. His household at the Izumo Inn includes the cheerful fighter Musubi, the little Kusano, the proud water Sekirei Tsukiumi and the hacker Matsu.

The episode consists of two short segments, Sekirei Shindan, which can be translated as Sekirei Diagnosis, and Sekirei Yoka, meaning Sekirei Leisure. Set apart from the battles of the Sekirei Plan, they offer a lighthearted, fan-service-filled look at Minato and his Sekirei in their everyday life at the inn, focusing on comedy and character interactions rather than the main storyline.
