White Album Season 2

White Album Season 2 continues the anime based on Leaf's visual novel White Album, covering episodes 14 to 26 of the story. Set in Japan in the 1980s, it follows college student Touya Fujii, whose girlfriend Yuki Morikawa is a rising pop idol.

As Yuki's career takes off, her busy schedule of concerts, recordings and public appearances keeps pulling the couple apart. Touya, left alone for long stretches, finds himself drawn closer to the other women around him, above all Rina Ogata, a top singer and Yuki's rival in the music industry, as well as friends and acquaintances such as Misaki Sawakura, Haruka Kawashima, his tutoring student Mana Mizuki and Yuki's manager Yayoi Shinozuka.

The second season deepens the emotional tangle of the first, as misunderstandings, unspoken feelings and Touya's indecision strain his relationship with Yuki. With the world of show business as its backdrop, the series explores loneliness, jealousy and the difficulty of keeping love alive when two people's lives are moving in different directions.
