Let's Go Karaoke!

Satomi Oka is trying to hold it together as the choir captain while he prepares for his last big performance before graduation. Then a yakuza lieutenant, Kyoji Narita, approaches him after hearing him sing and asks for private karaoke lessons. Kyoji is not asking for fun. His boss runs an annual karaoke competition, and losing comes with consequences Kyoji would rather not describe. Satomi wants nothing to do with any of it, but the pressure is real, and Kyoji keeps showing up with the stubborn patience of someone who is used to getting his way. What starts as voice coaching turns into an uneasy routine where Satomi learns how to stand his ground and Kyoji, of all people, starts treating Satomi’s opinion like it matters. The closer they get to the contest, the more Satomi realizes the «lesson» is also about fear, pride, and choosing what kind of person you want to be when someone bigger than you is watching.
