Fate/Kaleid Liner Prisma Illya Shorts

Fate/Kaleid Liner Prisma Illya Shorts are bonus specials bundled with each of the five Blu-ray and DVD volumes of Fate/Kaleid Liner Prisma Illya, the magical girl spin-off of the Fate franchise based on Hiroshi Hiroyama's manga. The series reimagines Illyasviel von Einzbern as an ordinary elementary school girl who is chosen by Magical Ruby, a mischievous talking Kaleidostick, to become a magical girl and help retrieve the dangerous Class Cards scattered throughout her town.

The shorts bring back Illya, her fellow magical girl and rival-turned-friend Miyu, the feuding mages Rin Tohsaka and Luviagelita Edelfelt, and the rest of the cast in brief, comedic segments. Freed from the card-collecting battles of the main story, they lean into the series' playful humor, character gags and nods to the wider Fate universe, offering fans a small extra helping of the lighthearted side of Illya's world with each home video release.
