Blood Blockade Battlefront: Even These Are the Worst and Best Days Ever

Blood Blockade Battlefront: Even These Are the Worst and Best Days Ever is a recap episode covering episodes 1 through 10 of Kekkai Sensen, the series based on Yasuhiro Nightow's manga. The story is set in Hellsalem's Lot, the city once known as New York, which was transformed overnight when a gateway to the Beyond opened, forcing humans and otherworldly beings to live side by side in a fog-shrouded metropolis full of chaos and danger.

In this special, Leonardo Watch looks back on his experiences since joining Libra, the secret organization dedicated to keeping the balance between worlds. Leo, an ordinary young man burdened with the All-Seeing Eyes of the Gods, recalls his new comrades, including the gentle giant Klaus V. Reinherz, the hot-headed Zapp Renfro and the composed Steven A. Starphase, and the bizarre incidents and battles they have faced together. Mixing reflection with the series' trademark frantic action and offbeat humor, the episode offers a refresher on the story so far.
