A Certain Magical Index II: Specials

A Certain Magical Index II: Specials are a new series of comedic shorts starring Index-tan, the super-deformed version of Index, released alongside the second season of A Certain Magical Index.

Index is the young nun who carries the knowledge of 103,000 grimoires in her memory and lives with Touma Kamijou, an unlucky high school student in Academy City whose right hand can negate any supernatural power. In the main series she is often left waiting at home while Touma gets drawn into dangerous battles between the worlds of science and magic, so the specials give her a chance to take center stage.

In these short episodes, Index-tan and other familiar characters from the series appear in light, self-aware sketches that poke fun at the franchise, its characters and its running gags, from Index's bottomless appetite to Touma's endless misfortune.
