A Certain Magical Index: Specials

A Certain Magical Index: Specials is a series of comedic shorts featuring Index-tan, a chibi version of Index, the young nun at the heart of A Certain Magical Index.

The main series takes place in Academy City, a technologically advanced city where most residents are students developing psychic abilities through scientific means. There, Touma Kamijou, a high school boy whose right hand, Imagine Breaker, can negate any supernatural power, meets Index, a nun of the Church of England whose memory holds 103,000 forbidden grimoires. Her arrival pulls him into the conflicts between the worlds of science and magic.

In these shorts, Index appears in an even cuter, super-deformed form, and the episodes play up her best-known traits, such as her bottomless appetite, her habit of biting Touma when she is upset and her innocent misunderstandings about modern life, through brief gags. They are a lighthearted bonus for fans who want to see the gluttonous little nun at her most adorable.
