Welcome to Japan, Ms. Elf!

In modern Japan, office worker Kazuhiro Kitase spends his nights inside a persistent «dream» of a fantasy world, adventuring with the elf mage Marie through ruins and monster nests. A botched incursion into a dragon’s lair ends with them burned down, and Kazuhiro wakes in his apartment to find Marie physically beside him. They verify a rule set: falling asleep in Japan returns him to the other world, while dying there or falling asleep while touching someone brings that person back to Japan with him. The pair begin shuttling on purpose, hiding Marie in plain sight as she learns trains, shops, and crowds, then crossing back to chart dungeons, barter Japanese food, and negotiate with powerful beings like the dragon Wridra. Friends and rivals who glimpse the transfer rule turn errands into covert ops and sightseeing into supply runs. Kazuhiro balances a day job and a growing household with quests, while he and Marie test how far the link can stretch without breaking either life.
