Set after the original series, the new season follows fallen angels Panty and Stocking as they return to Daten City under the eye of priest Garterbelt. Their task is the same: destroy Ghosts born from human vice, collect Heaven Coins, and work toward reinstatement. Routine hunts fracture when a rival pair of angels arrives, flaunting official backing and gadget-heavy methods that undercut the sisters’ authority and turn missions into turf wars. Between hauntings, possessions, and urban stampedes, the duo improvises with lingerie-turned-weapons while Garterbelt forces focus and Chuck survives the collateral. As the newcomers escalate and public chaos mounts, Panty and Stocking are pushed to cooperate, regain their licenses and standing, and decide whether to accept Heaven’s chain of command or seize control of Daten City’s afterlife traffic on their own terms.
