A Herbivorous Dragon of 5,000 Years Gets Unfairly Villainized

In a world where rumors are sometimes stronger than magic, old legends outlive the people who invented them. For five thousand years, a dragon has lived in a secluded cave, and his appearance fills people with sacred terror: a huge shadow, horns, scales, and an age worthy of ancient chronicles. The villages whisper about him as an evil deity, a possible ally of the Demon Lord, a creature to whom sacrifices are offered for protection. But the truth is far more absurd and far sadder: this dragon is weak and cowardly, cannot stand violence, and eats grass. All he dreams of is peace, the quiet of his cave, and for people to finally stop seeing him as a monster. Everything changes when a little orphan named Leiko comes to him, a girl raised as an offering to the "dragon god." She offers herself in exchange for saving her home village from the threat of the Demon Lord, and for the first time the peaceful recluse realizes that even five thousand years of solitude cannot shield him from human desperation.
