Rival parties and brokers move through the city as jobs meant to be simple recovery or escort work escalate into public threats. Sitri Smart returns, her alchemy turning Krai’s attempts to lie low into chain reactions that force the Grieving Souls to intervene. Tino leads field runs and learns to read the line between Krai’s luck and the party’s force.
