Murata is worn down by office life, so he slips into the local baseball stadium whenever he can and lets the crowd noise rinse his brain clean. Games are the excuse, but the real surprise is Ruriko, a flashy beer vendor who acts bold, talks fast, and has zero sense of personal space. She teases him, sits near him during breaks, and treats him like a familiar face long before he feels ready for that. The more he sees her, the more the act slips. Ruriko is earnest, easily embarrassed, and trying hard to do her job in a place that runs on small routines and constant hustle. Murata becomes her first regular customer, and their awkward back and forth turns into a habit neither of them admits out loud.
