One Punch Man Season 2 Commemorative Special

One Punch Man Season 2 Commemorative Special is a recap special released to mark the arrival of the second season of One Punch Man, looking back at the events of the first season. The series follows Saitama, a man who became a hero just for fun. After three years of a deceptively simple training regimen, he grew so overwhelmingly strong that he can defeat any opponent with a single punch, at the cost of his hair and, more painfully, any sense of excitement in battle.

The recap revisits how Saitama gained a devoted disciple in Genos, a serious young cyborg seeking revenge, and how the two joined the Hero Association, where Saitama's lack of recognition left him near the bottom of the rankings despite his unmatched power. It recalls the monsters and villains who tested the world's heroes, from the Deep Sea King's attack on City J to the invasion of the alien warlord Boros, giving viewers a concise refresher on the characters, the hero ranking system and the absurd humor of the series before the new season begins.
