Sekaiichi Hatsukoi OVA

The first of the two OVA episodes takes us back to the school days of Ritsu Onodera and Masamune Takano, when they attended the same school and gradually grew closer without fully realizing the nature of their feelings. Ritsu saw Masamune as confident and blunt, someone who never hid his directness, yet their conversations, chance meetings after class and shared loneliness created an invisible bond between them. Misunderstandings, an inability to speak openly and the fear of rejection led to conflicts, and their relationship never got a clear continuation: this is the story of the misunderstanding that broke them up.

The second story focuses on Chiaki Yoshino and Yoshiyuki Hatori, who travel together to visit Chiaki's family. The trip, meant to be an ordinary visit, quickly turns into a chain of awkward situations involving family customs, the attention of relatives and the need to hide the true nature of their relationship. Hatori faces unexpected questions, strange looks and a real test of his patience, while Chiaki tries to balance being a son and a partner. The home atmosphere only heightens the tension, making both of them take a fresh look at how close they are and at decisions that can no longer be put off.
