Junjou Romantica OVA

These OVAs were released with the limited premium editions of volumes 16 and 20 of Shungiku Nakamura's manga Junjou Romantica. They are short bonus episodes that revisit the couples of the main series.

Junjou Romantica centers on three intertwined romances. In "Romantica," Misaki Takahashi is tutored by his brother's best friend, the famous novelist Akihiko Usami, who soon falls for him and draws him into a turbulent relationship. "Egoist" follows the literature lecturer Hiroki Kamijou, once in unrequited love with Akihiko, and the earnest Nowaki Kusama, a young man raised in an orphanage who wins his heart. "Terrorist" pairs the impulsive Shinobu Takatsuki with You Miyagi, Hiroki's colleague, who is older and initially wants nothing to do with him.

The OVAs offer fans more time with these familiar characters, continuing the series' blend of romance, comedy and emotional moments between the couples, and are intended for viewers who already know the TV series.
