Kamitsubaki City Under Construction

Kamitsubaki City looks like a clean, futuristic success story, a place rebuilt into a beacon of technology and calm. The problem is what hides under that calm. After a devastating disaster reshaped the world, something unknown started creeping through the city’s shadows, and the people living there do not see the danger until it is already close. The only ones able to push it back are a small group of girls labeled as witches, not because of spells, but because their voices can do what weapons cannot. They fight through song, using «purification» to erase threats that normal logic cannot touch. As the attacks intensify, protecting the city stops being just a job and starts becoming an investigation. Each battle peels back a layer of what Kamitsubaki really is, who benefits from the illusion of peace, and why these girls were chosen to carry the burden.
