Ajin OVA

These new episodes of Ajin: Demi-Human were bundled with the limited editions of the eighth and ninth volumes of Gamon Sakurai's manga.

In the world of Ajin, immortal humans first appeared seventeen years ago on a battlefield in Africa. These demi-humans revive from any wound, even death itself, and can summon invisible black ghosts. Feared as a threat and coveted as research subjects, they are hunted by governments that offer huge rewards for their capture.

The first OVA tells the story surrounding the first Ajin ever confirmed in Japan, an event known as the Shinya Nakamura Incident, which shaped how the country views and treats demi-humans long before Kei Nagai's own death and resurrection.

The second OVA takes a lighter turn with four humorous short stories told from different points of view: two follow the terrorist Ajin Sato and his partner Tanaka, one centers on Izumi Shimomura and her superior Tosaki, and one features Kei and Kou Nakano, a fellow Ajin who becomes his ally.
