The Lake Ashinoko round begins under rain, and the wet surface turns every mistake into a chance for another driver to pass or crash. Kanata uses balance, memory, and training from Takumi Fujiwara to keep the 86 alive through corners where stronger cars cannot use their speed cleanly. Beckenbauer, Sawatari, Akabane, Aiba, and the other top racers each protect position with different methods, while commentators and engineers keep trying to explain how Kanata stays in range.
