Overlord: The Sacred Kingdom

The Roble Holy Kingdom survives behind a great wall built to hold back the demi human tribes of the Abelion Hills. That protection fails when Jaldabaoth appears, unites the tribes, and breaks through the border with an army. Cities fall, civilians are driven into camps, and the paladin order loses control of the northern region. Remedios Custodio leads what remains of the resistance, but anger and pride do not give her enough strength to retake the country. Neia Baraja, a young squire whose father dies in the invasion, joins the mission to seek help from the Sorcerer Kingdom. The request is bitter because the Holy Kingdom fears the undead, yet survival leaves no room for purity. Ainz Ooal Gown agrees to assist and enters the war as an ally no one fully trusts.

The campaign turns Neia into the person most changed by Ainz’s presence. She watches him rescue prisoners, distribute equipment, and face enemies that the paladins cannot defeat, while Remedios grows more hostile because his power exposes her own limits. Villages and forts are reclaimed through calculated strikes, but each victory also serves Nazarick’s hidden design. Jaldabaoth’s invasion and Ainz’s rescue are parts of the same larger manipulation, with Demiurge using both sides to weaken the kingdom and raise Ainz as a symbol of strength. Neia survives battles that should kill her and begins preaching that weakness cannot protect anyone. By the end, the Holy Kingdom is freed in name, but its politics, faith, and future have been redirected. Ainz leaves as a savior to many, while the country he rescued has already become easier for Nazarick to control.
