'Tis Time for "Torture," Princess

Princess is the commander of the Third Legion, the strongest military force of the human realm, and a living symbol in the long war against the demon king. During a disastrous campaign she is captured, separated from her troops, and brought into a dungeon where the demon side wants secrets while still keeping up the appearance of a proper prisoner exchange. The lead interrogator is Torture Tortura, a cheerful professional who never reaches for blades or torture devices. Her method is temptation: steaming bowls of ramen, golden fried snacks, fresh sweets, and every small comfort a hungry, exhausted captive is not supposed to have. Each offer is paired with a single question about defenses, plans, or allies, and Princess has to decide whether stubborn pride matters more than one moment of relief. The holy sword Ex, imprisoned beside her, tries to keep her focused and talks her through every trap, but Ex is also forced to watch as Princess slowly learns that the most painful part is not violence, it is kindness delivered with perfect timing. Other specialists join in with their own twists on the same idea, turning captivity into a daily routine of tests where Princess prepares to resist, gets disarmed by food or warmth, blurts out something she should not, and then has to live with the fallout. Over time the interrogations stop feeling like a simple battle of wills and start exposing what Princess values, what she fears losing, and how easily a promise of comfort can crack even a celebrated hero.
