Season 2 picks up in Byakuja Village with Jiji’s house crawling with bad omens and a rumor about a giant snake. The yokai called Evil Eye seizes Jiji and turns the home into a death trap. Momo, Okarun, Seiko, and Turbo Granny try staged rites and steady teamwork to force the spirit out. The fight twists when they learn Evil Eye is countering the tsuchinoko’s psychic waves that push people toward suicide. A hot springs stop lets the group catch breath, share a roof, and plan the next steps. Days at the inn nudge them into a makeshift family, then they head back and start fixing what the curse wrecked. Okarun’s place becomes a project and a promise that life will resume. The late run jumps from haunted rooms to city scale chaos as a space kaiju appears. Great Kinta stands as a giant robot answer. The finale is a straight fight for the skyline and a clean reset for the team that survived the house.
