Star Detective Precure!

Anna Akechi turns fourteen in 2027 and finds a pendant in her room after helping a girl on the way home. The fairy Pochitan appears, the pendant activates, and Anna is sent back to Makoto Mirai City in 1999. There she meets Mikuru Kobayashi, a girl trying to join the CUREtto Detective Agency and become a real detective. Anna has no way home, so the agency becomes her base while she and Mikuru begin taking cases together. Their first investigation starts with a stolen glass pen belonging to a mystery writer. The culprit is not only a thief in disguise, but part of a larger pattern connected to the Phantom Thieves’ Guild and the Hanninda created from stolen precious things.

Anna and Mikuru become Cure Answer and Cure Mystique, using instinct and deduction to expose lies before fighting the monsters born from them. Jett, who came from the London branch to close the agency, accepts them after seeing their resolve. The cases that follow keep tying ordinary thefts to deeper secrets. A museum robbery introduces Luluka Moria, a mysterious thief who can also transform and does not fit neatly as an enemy. The girls protect stolen items, question false stories, and search for the truth behind Anna’s time slip. Each case brings her closer to understanding why she was sent to 1999, while Mikuru learns that becoming a detective means more than knowing facts. Their work is built from clues, trust, and the choice to help people whose treasures, memories, or futures have been taken.
