Teasing Master Takagi-san 3

Summer vacation is drawing to a close, and the little island town fills once more with the familiar sounds of school: footsteps on the road to class, the rustle of notebooks, the chirping of cicadas and quiet giggles at the desk by the window. Nishikata returns to school in an almost combative mood. Over the past few days he has come up with new plans, new traps and new ways to finally catch Takagi off guard, the very classmate who, with her unfailing smile, reads him like an open book. For him, their daily duels are a matter of honor: if Takagi makes him blush yet again, it means he has lost once more. But the third season gradually changes the familiar rules of this game. The teasing remains as light and witty as ever, yet behind it something more than a simple desire to win becomes increasingly clear. Nishikata begins to notice that Takagi is not just laughing at his reactions: it is as if she is gently guiding him through awkwardness, jealousy, embarrassment and his first inklings of feelings he does not yet dare to name.
