Haruka Sakura trains with classmates who call themselves Bofurin, students who protect Makochi rather than terrorize it. Patrols and errands turn into fights when outside crews target friends and businesses. A rescue for an injured ally draws Bofurin into a clash with Keel that tests how far Haruka will go for someone he barely knows. Back on campus the group stabilizes, learns each other’s rhythms, and prepares for the next pressure point. New rivals arrive with showy leaders and strict pecking orders, and negotiations fail fast. Haruka studies feints and distance, seniors handle terms, and support roles keep bystanders out of the way. The conflict widens when two factions called Roppo Ichiza and Gravel enter the area and try to claim streets Bofurin swore to guard. Between matches the town reminds the students why they fight, and Haruka begins to accept help without losing his edge. Each result resets the board, but the rule remains the same. Protect the place.
