Kuroko’s Basketball: It is the Best Present

On Tetsuya Kuroko's birthday, the Generation of Miracles decides to give him an unusual present: a basketball game together, bringing back the spirit of their old battles and reconnecting with those who once stood beside him on the court. Satsuki Momoi organizes the gathering and invites everyone – former and current players, classmates and rivals alike – and the festive atmosphere is tinged with excitement, since many of them have rarely met outside the arena. Meanwhile, Taiga Kagami and his Seirin High teammates prepare for the day as if for a match of special importance, doing their best to get ready for Kuroko's birthday party.

When the day comes, people with very different pasts gather on the court: those who knew Kuroko during his days as the phantom sixth man and those for whom he became a source of inspiration. The game begins as a friendly contest, but it soon awakens memories of past matches, of the effort poured into a team and of the dreams each of them chased. Throughout, Kuroko shows not only his skill but his ability to read the game, weaving passes and movements into a single whole. Sometimes the best gift is not a material one but the joy of having fun with everyone.
