Natsume’s Book of Friends: Nyanko-Sensei and the First Errand

Madara, better known as "Nyanko-sensei," is in for an unexpected adventure when he gets separated from his temporary owner, Takashi Natsume, and runs into two young children. Unused to dealing with kids, Nyanko-sensei at first tries to wriggle out of the responsibility, but realizing that the forest is full of ravenous youkai, he decides to escort the brother and sister to safety.

However, even for a youkai as powerful as Nyanko-sensei, looking after children proves to be a real test. Their playfulness and boundless curiosity keep him constantly on guard, which takes plenty of strength and patience. On this tricky journey Nyanko-sensei discovers that even the mightiest beings can run into unexpected difficulties.

This side story from Natsume's Book of Friends puts the spotlight on the boastful, food-loving spirit who usually hides his true form inside the round body of a lucky-cat figure.
